Schnapps is a consumer good consumed by five different population tiers: As a basic need of
Jornaleros who live in
Hacienda Jornalero Quarters; as a luxury need of
Farmers and
Workers; and as a heat source for
Explorers and
Technicians. By default, it can be produced only in the Old World. With
Seeds of Change, it can also be produced in the New World.

Schnapps can be used during expeditions, it can serve as extra rations, it grants 20 bonus points to medicine skill and 55 bonus morale per 50 tons.
Trade[]
Schnapps can be passively sold for 20
or purchased for 50
per ton. It can be actively sold to Anne Harlow or Jean La Fortune for 80
coins. No neutral trader sells schnapps for a special price.
