With the introduction of electricity to the New World, it is now possible to produce saltpetre in the New World. If an alpaca farm has access to electricity, its fields will now produce saltpetre as an additional byproduct. The rate for 1 field is 1 ton of saltpetre for 4 minutes, meaning an alpaca farm with all of its 4 fields can produce up to 1 t/min. Adding additional fields above the limit of 4 though does not get the player more saltpetre per minute.
