The Pyrphorians are a non-playable faction in the lore of Anno 1800. They take their name from the Greek prefix pyr-, translating to "fire". As such, their appearances heavily lend from this theme in language and deeds throughout the Campaign.
Pyrphorian Ships[]
There exist 3 Steam Ships of the Pyrphorians that the player can come across and even build themselves, given the right Specialists:
All of these ships have innately increased health points compared to their usual types and come with a permament 
Flamethrower effect, meaning their attack range is halved, they attack faster but deal less damage per attack and they ignite enemy ships, slowing their movement and attack speed(?).
Believes and Command structure[]
It is heavily implied that Lady Margaret Hunt leads the Pyrphorians in secret.
