The Pyrphorian Battle Cruiser is a variant of the standard 
Battle Cruiser. Like all Pyrphorian Ships, it will attack with Flamethrowers much like a ship with a 'Flamethrower item' active.
How to obtain[]
The Pyrphorian Battlecruiser will be one of the random ships which can appear for purchase from the bases of the Pirate AI characters after reaching a trade agreement with them.
Alternatively, the player can construct the Pyrphorian Battlecruiser after obtaining the legendary ship specialist item Suspicia Slyhood, Begetter of Pyphorian Battlecruisers and placing it into a Harbourmaster's Office within range of their shipyard. This item can be rarely obtained from Rescue Expeditions, or from completing quests for Carl Leonard von Malching, or as flotsam from destroying ships belonging to Carl Leonard von Malching.
Trivia[]
The mere existence of this ship showcases the power and riches of the Cult of Pyr. Built as a command ship for their secretive Grand Master, the Pyrphorian Battle Cruiser takes the hull of a Battle Cruiser and replaces its long-range guns with the distinctive Pyrphorian flamethrowers. While this does mean this ship loses its decisive range advantage, it gains a murderous increase in close-quarters firepower, as the flamethrowers are much more accurate than the guns of the 
Ship-of-the-Line, the only thing that can claim higher DPS.
One Pyrphorian Battle Cruiser shows up at the end of the Campaign as the command ship for the Grand Master.
Patch History[]
Game Update 5 (September 10, 2019):
- Hitpoints buffed from 5000 to 8000
- Attack Cooldown lowered from 3.5s to 2.9s (official patch notes suggest it was 3.4s previously).
- Purchase price increased from 70k
to 1.2M - Selling proceeds increased from 70k to 600k
