New World Rising is the thirteenth Anno 1800 DLC and was released on the December 8, 2022. It is the third DLC of the Season 4 Pass. It adds 
Artistas – the third population tier available in the New World. Along with artistas there are new needs, goods, buildings and production chains. It adds a new monument called the Grand Stadium which can host football championships, starting festivals and providing influence. The DLC also adds a scenario Pride and Peddlers about Madame Kahina trying to retrieve precious artefacts for the New World population.
Content of the DLC[]
The main addition of New World Rising DLC are the artistas – the new population tier in the New World. After fulfilling all their basic needs, the obrero residences can be upgraded into artista residences. Their new needs require new goods, new buildings and involve new production chains. Many of the new buildings and goods function as lifestyle needs for other population tiers, giving an opportunity to increase the population living in every residence.
An important aspect of the new DLC is the expansion of the New World region. The northern part of the map gets expanded and new islands are discovered. Among them there is a continental island Manola, which also features a unique monument, a dam, which can generate electricity for the entire island.
With New World Rising DLC, the New World can also experience the benefits of electricity. In addition to the dam, power stations that consume oil can also be built. Many factories can be electrified to increase their productivity. Animal farms that have access to electricity start producing additional products – the pastures of such farms produce specific goods, for example pastures of cattle farms can produce milk.
Sufficient number of artistas is required in order to build the Grand Stadium, where football championships can be hosted. The quality of the events increases when specific goods are provided to the stadium, just like in case of the World's Fair. The championships permanently increase player's influence pool and trigger a festival on the island with the stadium.
Emergency services in Old World and New World can be upgraded. When provided with specific products made in New World, like Fire Extinguishers, Police Equipment or Medicine, their functionality gets improved, and they will mobilise extra units automatically.
The DLC also gives access to 8 new beach-themed ornaments and adds Pride and Peddlers scenario, in which Madame Kahina tries to recover artefacts precious to the New World population. Her task is to establish a strong trading company that relies on volunteers who pay no taxes and she needs to generate profits while facing the market with changing prices.
