Beautifies your harbour area.

Quay is a Harbour Building which can be used to beautify a harbour area. It can be built in the Old World (and Cape Trelawney), the New World and Enbesa, it requires free harbour area.

Quays can be built a bit similarly to roads and ornaments - a big harbour area can be covered with quay by left-clicking on one tile and then dragging over an area. Longer lines of quays which are at least two tiles wide can have some crates and boxes on top of them. Quays have no other purpose other than making harbours look aesthetically pleasing, although unlike ornaments the quays do not increase the island's attractiveness. One way of using quays is for example filling empty spaces in between other harbour buildings, since harbour buildings look as if they were constructed on top of a quay. However, connecting buildings via quays has no impact on the gameplay and the functionality of those buildings. When it comes to connecting harbour buildings to the Trading Post Trading Post or a Warehouse Warehouse, it has to be done with roads, not quays.
