Productivity
It takes 30 seconds to produce 1 ton of cotton fabric from 1 ton of cotton so the production rate is 2 tons of cotton fabric per minute. Productivity can be changed by adjusting working conditions and using items.
Cotton fabric usage and production chains
Cotton fabric is used to produce fur coats, bowler hats and sails (only in the New World; the Old World version uses wool).
Cotton fabric can be used during expeditions, it grants 15 bonus points to medicine skill per 50 tons. It can also be sold for 8 coins, or purchased for 20 coins per ton (by passive trading). Cotton fabric can be actively bought from Isabel Sarmento for 20 coins.
