Coal is a raw material. By default, it can be produced in the Old World and The Arctic.
Production[]
Coal is one of the most important resources in the game. It can be obtained in three ways:
- Charcoal Kilns in The Old World
- Charcoal Kilns in The Arctic
- Coal Mines in the Old World
Coal mines are twice as productive and don't lower the attractiveness of an island, so coal mines should be a primary source of coal and charcoal kilns should be used only to make up for not having enough coal deposits.
