Buildings skins

Buildings skins are skins for buildings, which can be applied individually to selected buildings in order to change their appearance. Skins include mostly texture and colour variations, allowing to adjust the look of the buildings to player's preferences without having any impact on the gameplay.

Changing skins[]

There are two ways of changing skins of buildings:

Selecting specific skin from a building's menu. If there are multiple skins available for a building, its menu includes a paintbrush icon, usually located on the right side of the menu. Clicking on it opens a small pop-up window with the list of available skins, represented by their icons. Clicking on one of the icons changes the building's appearance to the selected skin.
Using the Skin Painter tool. Clicking on the paintbrush icon located on the left from the construction menu tab toggles on the Skin Painter tool. It allows to change the skins of multiple buildings at once. While the tool is active, clicking or clicking and dragging over a part of the city changes the skins of all applicable buildings within the area - the buildings will have their skin changed to the next available skin. Clicking on a building and dragging over an area while holding Shift changes the appearance of all applicable buildings to the skin used by the originally selected residence. Holding Alt while selecting an area changes buildings' appearance to their previous skin, instead of the next one.

Available skins[]

Skins present in the game are limited to specific themes and buildings, and most of the skins are available only with specific DLCs: Vibrant Cities Pack DLC, Old Town Pack DLC, Fiesta Pack DLC or Eldritch Pack DLC. Sections below include lists of available skins along with their screenshots.

Marketplace[]

	Summer Market	A bright facade, a shady courtyard and the chatter of neighbours are a welcome distraction from the fact that you still have to get all these new treasures home somehow. Requires Fiesta Pack DLC.
	Summer Market Plaza	If you happen to overturn a cart, at least your vegetables will spill upon a street you could eat off. Requires Fiesta Pack DLC.
