Assembly Line is a Multifactory which can produce several different goods:
Elevators - produced from
Steel,
Wood Veneers and
Steam Motors
Biscuits - produced from
Tallow,
Flour and
Citrus
Typewriters - produced from
Steel,
Brass and
Lacquer
Assembly Line requires The High Life DLC and
electricity and can be built only in the Old World (and Cape Trelawney).
Production[]
Assembly Line produces goods when a few conditions are met:
- Desired patent is selected
- Appropriate workforce is available
- The building is provided with necessary goods
It requires three different input goods and it takes 15 seconds to produce 1 ton of the product from 1 ton of every input good so the production rate is 4 tons of the produced good per minute. Productivity can be changed by adjusting working conditions and using items. As electricity is required to operate, this building produces with 200% productivity by default. Assembly Line requires a Warehouse or
Trading Post to be located within its range in order to send out carts to fetch input goods and deliver produced good. It can also receive input goods if it is within range of specific production buildings, which could deliver required goods they produce directly to the assembly line.
Assembly Line Parts[]
The ceaseless assembly line churns out goods with no end. Workers with vacant expressions are caught up in repetitive motion, perfecting their cycle by doing it over and over again.
Assembly Lines can produce three different goods, each based on a different patent but only one type of good can be made at a time. Like in every multifactory, used patent can be switched at any moment. Assembly lines using different patents have the same construction costs, production times, maintenance cost and workforce requirement but different unlock condition.
Assembly Line: Elevators[]
An engineering marvel that makes every new feat of skyward construction possible - I say, imagine having to take the stairs fifty storeys! Here's hoping the bellboy isn't rude, the muzak is innocuous and you aren't trapped in there for three days with a dishcloth salesman...

Assembly Line: Biscuits[]
Uniform in shape, size and taste, these afternoon delights tumble off the assembly line in their dozens - and if they survive the landing, soon disappear off in their boxes. Keep out of reach of children, or else you might end up with just a handful of crumbs!

Assembly Line: Typewriters[]
This portable, click-clacking quill-and-ink-substitute stamps perfectly-formed pigmented letters onto crisp office paper. So, cheerio spidery scrawl, like hieroglyphs to decipher! - that handwriting business was so dreadfully 1800!
