Dear editors, readers and all Anno 1800 players,
It's been a year since our beloved Anno 1800 was released. It was an amazing year, and I believe that we all spent a big part of it playing Anno, building amazing cities and production districts, managing trade routes, sometimes fighting for our empires, getting slightly annoyed by the newspaper guy and simply enjoying the amazing Anno atmosphere in which we could immerse ourselves when entering the first-person mode (it doesn't exist of course but I heard that ctrl+shift+R was a magical letters combination in the 19th century).
I would like to thank all contributors for helping me with making this Wiki as great as it is today, I wouldn't have done it alone! Thank you to all readers for letting me know that all this work doesn't go to waste and thank you for all your valuable feedback and questions which helped me make the Wiki better and more clear and more complete. And thank you to all players, who keep showing Ubisoft and the whole gaming community that we still love the game and want to see even more of our beloved game series.
The Wiki is far from being complete, more game content is also on the way. But I want to ensure all of you, that even though life is sometimes tough and doesn't give me a lot of free time, I will continue to work on this Wiki: managing it as its admin, adding more and more content, and polishing what's already there. All to make the Wiki as good as it can possibly be!
Thanks again for everything and I wish you all have even more fun when playing Anno than during this past year.
Your Wiki admin and Ubisoft Companion,
